Thank you Kindergartners!

Yesterday, I traveled with our Readers as Leaders students as they delivered perhaps the most special books of all--handmade books authored by Ms. Cretara's Kindergarten class! Sawyer was thrilled to be a part of this project as Ms. Cretara's class proudly authored and illustrated their very own books to be shared with the preschool students in St. Vincent. The preschool students LOVED them--many insisting on napping with them tucked into their blankets with them! One boy quietly walked over to his backpack and put his in their for safe keeping. In a country where children's books are hard to come by, these preschool children were so happy to have books of their very OWN! Thank you to all of Ms. Cretara's sweet students!!
