No one ever knows if the little we do makes a difference. But we need to do it just the same.
READERS AS LEADERS
PROJECT
STUDENT SPONSORSHIPS

We have worked with a our main partner school, St. Joseph's Convent Marriaqua since our inception. Over the years, donors have provided funds for school fees, uniforms, transport, books and food for these students. Many of these students have gone on to college and now are contributing members of their communities.

ST. ANTHONY'S HOME FOR GIRLS

Denniston International provided technical assistance to St. Vincent and the Grenadines first--and only--group home for abused girls. Our organization was instrumental in the development of policies and procedures for the Home, as well as a player in the initial development of the project.

PRESCHOOL OPPORTUNITY PROJECT

Years before New York State mandated free preschool programs, Denniston International worked to fill this gap in the small village of Cold Spring, New York. The organization works with an area preschool to provide free preschool for a local Spanish-speaking family. Currently, one of the children attends elementary school, and the English she learned at the preschool level helped her acclimate much more easily into the elementary school climate.

FILLING IN GAPS

Perhaps the thing that Denniston Internationl does best is to step in and step up when children, families and communities are slipping through the cracks. Our organization tries to "do something" when the feeling of what to do may feel overwhelming. We have partnered with families in need of home repairs as well as paid sports fees for children who could not afford to play Little League baseball in the true belief that small acts create great change.
